Ervaring met Fraquelli Locanda? Uw mening telt! Charles HennikerOur evening here was sadly ruined by the rudeness of the lady at front of house (owner?). The decor is nice, the food was ok but the service was unbelievably slow and without any care at all. Arriving early as we were going out later, there were only a few diners when we arrived. It took over 10 minutes for anyone to come to the table. After waiting another hour we asked if our food would come soon and were told we were next, My real issue is that it eventually took an amazing 1hour 40minutes for our first plate to arrive!! With only 6 of us at the table, it took a further 7 minutes for all 6 plates to arrive. We had to rush for our rendezvous-vous and had no time for dessert or coffee. As we were leaving, I very politely suggested that some small apology for the delay would be appreciated. I was told that they only prepared the vegetables when they received the order(!) and that if I wanted fast food that I should go to Macdonalds. The arrogance!!
I have lived in Belgium for 16 years and have always dined well. Belgian resto is very good. This is the only time I have been left with a truly unpleasant taste in my mouth caused simply by such arrogance and rudeness.
